Tunari is a town located in Ilfov county, north of Bucharest.
For the Tunari heliport, we used the following products:
- Inset TLOF
- Inset Alignment
- Elevated FATO – a steady omnidirectional white light designed for marking the Final Approach and Take-off Area (FATO) area
- Floodlight 60W
- Precision Approach Path Indicator – APAPI – gives colour cues to the pilots to maintain the correct approach slope to the FATO
- Visual Alignment Guidance System – located in such manner that a helicopter is guided along the prescribed track towards the landing area
- Wind Direction Indicator – indicates the wind conditions over the FATO and TLOF
- Heliport Beacon – a powerful omnidirectional light, intended to signal the presence of a heliport
- Beacon Controller – powers and controls the heliport beacon
- Heliport Controller V3 – powers, controls, and monitors the lighting circuits and guidance systems on the heliport
As always, Signalight‘s lighting systems used for the Tunari heliport comply to ICAO and FAA regulations, meeting both infrastructure and customer needs.
