Portable POLARIS Light system is designed and manufactured by Signalight worldwide to be used to set up a temporary or semi-permanent lighting solution in order to allow aircraft or helicopters to land in special environmental conditions on grass strips, frozen lakes, roadways, or as an emergency runway lighting on major airports.
The lights are indicating to airplane pilots the landing direction on the airport runway, with maximum safety. This type of light is a reliable and flexible product, being easy to fit into any kind of infrastructure.
Overview
Saint Barth is a public-use airport located in the village of St. Jean, on the Caribbean island of Saint Barthélemy.

POLARIS is a portable lighting system used to set-up a temporary or semi-permanent lighting system, which allows aircrafts or helicopters to land on difficult conditions, or as an emergency runway lighting on major airports.
These lights are designed and built with simplicity and ease of maintenance in mind, having high power LED technology, being lightweight, with low-energy consuming and environment-friendly lighting fitting.
Also, light fixtures are provided with an anti-condensation valve. Polaris lighting systems are having great autonomy and can be functional in difficult environmental conditions with a temperature range from – 55 degrees to +55 degrees.
