Kakira Airport

VISTA runway lighting system was the core of the project Kakira Airport. Kakira Airport is one of the 46 airports in Uganda.

We are the proud winner of the Innovation Award for our VISTA system at Inter Airport 2021 Award in Munchen, Germany.
This is a recognition of our involvement in developing innovative and high-quality illumination products for the aviation field.

Challenge
Signalight provided the complete range of Vista airport lighting products:

• Vista Approach lights – to indicate to the pilots the landing direction to the airport runway
• Vista Runway Edge lights – to indicate the edge of the airport runway
• Vista Runway End lights – to indicate the end of the airport runway
• Vista Taxiway lights – to indicate the taxiing way for the pilots
• Vista Threshold lights – to indicate the threshold of the airport runway
• Vista Threshold End lights – to indicate the end of the airport runway

Our VISTA runway lighting system is incorporated an advanced design and quality materials in order to provide maximum safety. These lighting products are reliable and flexible and easy to fit into any kind of infrastructure in an airport. Made from polycarbonate and aluminum they are suitable for being used in any kind of environmental conditions, even at temperatures between -50°C to +55°C. Vista lights are resistant, having an IP66.
All the lighting products are easy to install, with no specialized skills being required, also compact and lightweight.
The UV protection made them also very resistant.

All the Signalight products and lighting systems are certified/compliant according to international standards ICAO, FAA.
