Challenge
For a heliport in Australia Signalight provided heliport floodlights which are heliport projectors for the floodlight system of the helipads.
Heliport floodlights are normally installed along the perimeter of the TLOF area (Touchdown and Lift-Off) area. They can be fixed on a special base by means of screws or bolts, or directly to the ground and must be oriented to achieve the most effective spreading of the light.

Heliport floodlights, as LED lighting system for heliport designed and manufactured in Romania by Signalight comply with ICAO and are made with premium quality materials having a 20W low-power energy consumption and important features:
Housing – powder-coated aluminium, RAL 1004 (aviation yellow)
Anti-glare visor is made from powder-coated aluminium, RAL 1004 (aviation yellow)
Diffuser – is made from 3mm clear polycarbonate
Cable gland – nickel-plated brass
Fastening system – powder-coated aluminium, RAL 1004 (aviation yellow)
Fasteners are made from stainless steel
Light fixtures are provided with an anti-condensation valve
Light fixtures are UV protected

The LED lighting system for heliport incorporates high-power LED technology – excellent photometric performance – and is lightweight and environmentally friendly lighting fitting.
The heliport floodlights manufactured by Signalight can add accessories like Adapter Ring, Frangible Coupling
IP68 Electrical Junction Box or Standard Φ160mm Shallow Base.
