Certified According to Standards:

  • IEC TS 61827: Electrical installations for lighting and beaconing of aerodromes.
  • Characteristics of inset and elevated luminaries used on aerodromes and heliports.

The GPI allows to give luminous information to the pilot for the night landing with an helicopter in severe operating conditions where the use of standard fixed equipment is not possible.

The GPI mainly consists of a compact projector, that emits on the vertical plane a trichromatic light beam, as shown in the graphical representation.
