Runway portable lights Ponta Delgada Airport (João Paulo II)

John Paul II International Airport, located in the city of Ponta Delgada, the most populous city in the Azores archipelago, is the main entry point for passengers and air cargo and the primary (and busiest) airport in the Azores. Its name is a tribute to the visit of Pope John Paul II , during his visit to the Azores in 1991. It has one runway, with a total lenght of 2525 meters.

For this project, Signalight offered the following runway portable lights, used to set up a temporary or semi-permanent lighting system to allow aircraft to land on grass strips, frozen lakes, roadways, or as an emergency runway lighting on major airports:

Signalight‘s runway portable lights follows ICAO and FAA regulations, whilst also keeping in mind both infrastructure and customer’s needs.
