Overview
Dakhla Airport is an airport serving Dakhla city in Moroccan Sahara. It is used as a public airport and by the Royal Moroccan Air Force. Signalight manufactured and delivered illuminating system for this airport from our Polaris series.
The POLARIS products can be used as a standalone fitting or as part of a complete portable runway lighting kit. The POLARIS lighting kit is used to set up a temporary or semi-permanent lighting system, allowing aircraft to land on grass strips, frozen lakes, roadways, or as emergency airport runway lighting on major Airports. Thanks to optional IR LED sources, the Polaris system can also be NVG compatible.
Challenge
Signalight provided lighting solutions for Dakhla Airport. For temporary and semi-permanent lighting, some portable runway lighting products are needed, such as the following:

The POLARIS light unit is lightweight, durable, waterproof and has been developed for fast fixing by non-specialist operators.
